My Symmetry Book - Concrete Approach to Maths

My symmetry book done by Celia. Is there symmetry in the figure in yellow? No, right!

Flip the left flap open & voila!! Symmetry!!

Flip the right flap & you'll get another symmetry!!

It all begins with some . . .ops lots of cutting.

Getting busy!!

This is how a typical symmetry book looks. No smmetry from the outside but once ypu play with the flaps - magic . . . you'll will symmetry.

Ruizaini's creative work. Check out the facial expression!! No symmetry.

Mr Monster!!

Mr Nice Guy!! Well done, Ruizaini!

All this definitely need lots of patience, cutting, pasting and finally learning - concrete approach to Maths.

Hurry up? No time left!

Some examples.

Lots of flipping and flapping!! Posted by Hello
