Reflections - The Way Forward for P4/2

Educational article taken from The Strait Times Sat 18 Sep. Sounds like the buzz word for education currently is "Teach less, Learn more". What implications does this have for our class? Definitely, in many areas. As structure drives behaviour, I guess we have made a start to re-arrange our classroom into functional, practical groups to facilitate co-operative learning. Learning in our class would gradually move from a Big Brain (yours truly) to Small Brains approach to one where there would be more connectivity between the pupils. The role of a teacher will shift to one of a facilitator pulling together different resources combined with sound instructional design to get pupils to complete meaningful authentic tasks. Stay TUNED!!!

Winner of the Most Innovative Seating Arrangement

The most innovative, yet practical seating arrangement done by Mira & group members. We adapted it further for practicality by introducing an L-shaped grouping. Notice the blue ink, these are the amendments. Posted by Hello

Mr Thang's suggestion for an innovative seating arrangement

My suggestion for an innovative seating arrangement. keeping the centre empty would mean that we could gather as a class in the centre and use/see the whiteboard. Previously, we couldn't when we sat at the back, remember?

Can't wait to hear all your suggestions???
