Remember Teachers' Day 2004 which was also ACES day.

Emelia and some of the girls in our class lead our juniors in P2/8 for the gym-robics.



The song title is "Twist & Shake" selected by Emelia herself.



Wan Qi simply enjoying herself. She chereographed and trained the P2/8 pupils together with Emelia and a few other gals such as Jia Yan, Ling Xin, Wan Ru & Kim Mei.

Working with Cloze passages - Strategy 1 - Annotations


This is the workshop we, P3 & P4 teachers attended on the 9th Oct Sat 2004. Very interesting!!! One of the strategies that we learnt is annotation of the passage. Adopt an open mind when it comes to figuring out the answer. That's just step 1. More to come . . .

Done by Wan Ru & Rui Yu. Cloze passages annotation are best done in pairs where there can be discussion. With discussion comes negotiation, deciding which word may fit or is suitable. In the process of thrashing it out, the meaning in the blank becomes clearer. Try IT!!!
