Learning Journey : Stop 2 - Kent Ridge Park

A brief summary of Adnan Saidi.


Also on the itinerary for the excursion is a trip to Kent Ridge Park. Known also as Bukit Chandu or Opium Hill after an opium manufacturing plant there in the 1930s. It saw one of the fierciest battles in Singapore where Adnan Saidi and the Malay Regiment demonstrated bravery and courage.

Sewing buttons onto the patches of cloth can be quite daunting at times especially for 10 year olds.
